Add Colors to the System Palette

Did you know you can add additional colors to your system palette?
For this task you will first need to:
  1. Login to your Community Builder admin account.
  2. Click the (Themes and Color Maintenance) button in the bottom center quadrant.
Add additional colors to your system palette:
  1. Click on the (Color Palette) button.
  2. Click on the (New Color) button.
  3. Enter a name for your new color. A best practice is to use the following format to name your colors. Type the basic shade the color will fall under e.g. red, green, yellow, blue, gray, etc. followed by a dash and then a unique name for the color such a sunrise yellow, navy blue, or brick red. The advantage of this format is that all simmilar colors (all reds, blues, greens yellows, orange, etc.) will be grouped together.
  4. Click on the color selector square to up the color selection palette.
  5. Drag the selection circle to the color you want.
  6. Slide the selector circle below the color palete to change the shade of the color.
  7. Click the (Create New Color) button.
  8. Click the (Current Color List) button to return to the full list of colors in your palette.
  9. The new color should appear in the list of colors throughout the Community Builder platform anywhere a color selection drop down list appears.
