Setting up Thunderbird e-mail for your community

Did you know you can set up Thunderbird e-mail For FREE?
  1. Click here to open the Thunderbird e-mail download
  2. Click the (Download) button
  3. Save the Thunderbird.exe file to your hard drive.
  4. Open file explorer and navigate to the folder where you saved the Thunderbird.exe file. Double click the Thunderbird.exe file to start the installation.
  5. When the installation starts select a Standard installation.
  6. When complete click the Finished button. Thunderbird should start automatically.
  7. Click on the Tools menu and select Account Settings.
  8. On the Account Setting page click Account Actions drop down list and select Add Mail Account.
  9. Enter your name, the e-mail address of the account you wish to connect to and the e-mail account password.
    The e-mail address should be something like: administrator@YourCommunityName.live
    The password was sent to you from Community Builder when your community was being setup so check your old e-mails and possibly your SPAM folder.
  10. Click Continue
  11. Click the (Done) button and close the Account Setup and Account Settings tabs.
  12. Thunderbird e-mail is a feature rich application. If you ever need assistance configuring the application there are many resources online and on YouTube to help you.
